The Active Wheel is a compact scroll actuator designed to transform the way users interact with handheld and wearable technology. By integrating a brushless motor, motor driver, angular sensor and a fully programmable haptic engine into a 24.5 mm form factor, it delivers a tactile experience that is smooth, responsive and highly customizable. From ratchet effects to continuous scrolling, spring resistance, vibration or soft stop emulation, the haptic profile can be tailored to your application via I²C or UART, and adjusted dynamically using embedded firmware. With standby power under 0.1 mW and whisper-quiet operation below 50 dB, it ensures seamless integration into the most compact and power-sensitive devices. Fully compliant with ROHS and PFAS-free standards, it meets both environmental and performance demands.
